Rock N RoLL @ Yoyogi

Sunday afternoon...Heading to play soccer a little bit before going to a "friendly game"...Yoyogi Park, probably one of the biggest parks in Tokyo.　All of a sudden we are watching this group or "Rock N RoLL" guys, wearing tight leather pants and with hilarious hair styles...We went to play, came back, and they were still dancing and dancing, like DURACEL. Going & going.

"Are there pyramids in Mexico?!, I thought only Egypt had pyramids". How many times haven't I heard this question.

Teotihuacan, "City of Gods"... Pyramid of the sun, Pyramid of the Moon, the Avenue of Dead...

About the picture in the previous post, the girl wearing a pink dress is one of those famouse girls in Japan called "Lolitas". I am unaware of all the characteristics of this girls. I do know though that they usually hang out around "Harajuku", area for young people, equivalent to "Coyacan" or "La Condesa" in Mexico City. Specially on Saturday noon, a lot of "Lolitas" can be found putting on their makeup next to the station. I still don't know/understand the purpose (if they have one) of this girls, however, it is quite interesting to see the passion and effort they put on their customs.

上達するために。。。

日本に住んでいるんい仕事で日本語を使わず。。。勿体ないんだよね。

そのおかげで、好きな言葉が上達するためにちょくちょくここで書くことに決めた。

一昨日、久しぶりのいい天気で代々木公園でサッカーボールを蹴っていた。その後表参道のほう向かっていたところ、一人で歩いていたロリタを発見した。

書くのは久しぶり

After a while of not writing at all, due to lack of time or inspiration, here I am again. Or is it maybe just because Claudio asked me to do so? LOL Whichever the reason, what matters is that I am doing it.

I just came back from Okinawa(Naha); for who don't know where it is, it is one of the most or the most famous Island in Japan where people go there to relax, tan, or so water sports.

Life there is quite different than the one in Tokyo. Way more laid-back than Tokyo (which happens to be not laid-back at al). There you can also see a better contrast between the areas downtown and the countryside.

Due the fact that over 20% of Okinawa land is occupied by USA military bases, a lot of foreigners are living there.

The first day I went to 新原　(Mihara) beach which was about one hour away by bus from Naha.

It is completely in the countryside. Not a single soul walking on the street.
